Mr Mark Snell, the current Headmaster of Wetherby School, will be joining Eaton House Belgravia as Headmaster from September, 2023.
He brings with him a strong understanding of London schools and their families, and an established track record in preparing boys for 7+ and 8+ examinations. He will be able to bring this formidable expertise to Eaton House Belgravia, building on the success of the outgoing Headmaster, Mr Huw May.
Mr Snell was Head of Mathematics at Eaton House The Manor in 1994, before moving to teach at Westminster Under and King’s College Junior School. He initially joined Wetherby School as Deputy Head, before taking on the Headship in 2008. As Eaton House Schools celebrate their 125th year, they look forward to Mr Snell taking Eaton House Belgravia into the next phase of its history.
Eaton House Belgravia is a local institution, founded in 1897. Many famous names have passed through its ranks, from Sir Laurence Olivier and Eddie Redmayne to Philip Pullman and Bear Grylls. It has come to be known as an academically excellent school of the first rank, fizzing with life and originality.
